I do. He has from the beginning of his term in office. Frankly... I am sick of it. He is a dictator in his own right and a clown.
I'm glad the immigration reform bill failed too. We got to keep Bush in his place. We the people run this.... not 1 [pitiful excuse of a man. He knew about 911, he killed Sadam for threatening his daddy years ago, there were never any weapons of mass destruction, and he can keep trying to monopolize the oil reserves in the world if he wants to but... until he gets his **** together and stops being wishy- washy, other nations will keep on coming over here and committing acts of terrorism and violence.

I don't think GWB was smart enough to have some plan in 9/11. Plus I don't want to think that he did. Cause what happen there was a heartless thing to do. I try not to get all conspiracy theory but I think he or his father was a reason they attacked. Then I could be all wrong and it was just bad luck on his part that it happened during his term.
I believe 100% he is using the "fear of more attacks" to justify staying over there so long. I don't care what anybody says. Theres always going to be milisa groups over there that will always hate us. We can never stop that. I think they need to worry less about "building back their goverment" and start working on ours.

Who thinks GWB is using terrorism as a scare tactic to gain control of the American people?
Why don't you ask some of the family members who loved ones who jumped out of the world trade center windows to keep from being incinerated by the flames.

Bush has done such a good job of protecting us that our borders are wide open and have been open for more than six years. He welcomes illegals to cross over and imprisons guards who shoot a drug smuggler. Who knows how many terrorists have entered this country? Bush tries to frighten everyone else, but he sure doesn't seem to worry about it! Who among us could tell a Middle Easterner from a Mexican?
Our ports, our bridges and highway systems, our infrastructure has been hired out to foreign enterprises. Plans are underway to turn our airport facilities over to foreigners for management. Our nuclear plants, our universities with nuclear materials, our water plants, etc.....all unguarded. Our food supply comes from foreign lands and is not inspected. And thousands of Illegal Immigrants are employed by the National Government, while thousands more live here on expired Visas, with no one seeking them out.
We are wide open for a terrorist attack, but why should they do it right now when they can pick off Americans, two by two, in Iraq? And the mess in that country is creating more terrorists than ever before, with the mock government ridiculed, while the anti-American clerics hold the power.
They know this, so they are biding their time, concentrating on England. The longer the Iraq War drags on, the more chance the terrorists have of bringing down the U.S., just as they brought down Russia. The War is expensive, beyond belief, and they know if it goes on long enough, we will not be a Super Power, but an indebted country struggling to survive, just as Russia was for so many years.
We saw the electrical failure of the Big Blackout. We saw Katrina. Don't depend upon George Bush and his Bunch to protect you in a crisis. Be prepared to help yourself, because while he talks the talk, he has always failed to walk the walk.

I do not, Bush's "control" ends in 2008. And he has done nothing but live up to his oath to protect America and its people. I do not believe that members of the military would obey orders that would result in the deaths of 3000 Americans, nor do i think a President only in office 8 months could give such orders and expect to have them obeyed. Far as invading "America's privacy", Bush authorized the NSA to listen in on phone numbers captured in Afganstan, meaning that these were numbers beonging to Al Quada agents in America. Why do you object to finding out what an enemy may be doing in our Country?

I think GWB is using terrorism as a scare tactic to gain control of the American people. Maybe not so much him but his minions.
A quote from one of their idols:
"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."
-- Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials
After reading this one can see what they are doing whether they know it or not and whether that is their real intent or not.

I agree completely, the best way to control a population is to make them live in fear and to demoralize them. Between the "terrorist" attacks and the high cost of health care, college loans, and the lack of an investigative press to keep tabs on what the government is doing they have all the right things in place to keep the American public docile and controllable.

I do. Also believe Dick Cheney does as well. He said in the re-election, if you all vote Democrat, we will be attacked again. How long did it take to help the people of New Orleans? Do you think Bush would have responded quicker if it were, let's see now, Texas or Florida where his brother is. I look forward to when his whole adminstration from Cheney to Rove is out of the White House.

I happen to live in New York. There have been many attempts after 9/11 for attacks, but most - almost all - have been supressed. Also note, Terrorists have also attacked Britain. Britain would have no strategical need to help Bush control the American people in a conservative direction.
Honestly, people give Bush a bad wrap and it's kinda stupid. Sure, he's a bad public speaker, but does that make someone stupid? Absolutely not. He attended both Yale and Harvard, which likely constitutes something, yes? If that's not proof, then I leave you with this; I am a terrible public speaker, but I have an abnormally high intelligence quotient. Other than that, the man is bashed by the media because of the lackluster time period he was placed into presidency.
If Bush was really controlling the American people, do you REALLY think there'd be as many Bush bashers as there are? He takes a beating in nearly every major news media coverage on him; thus making the general opinion of him fairly negative.

I Do. He has many sheeple who would let him stick a pair of scissors in their eye, so be careful out there! You're Treading on thin ice, the hate mongers will get you! I don't think he had anything to do with 9/11...although, his look of trying to look surprised at the news is the look of "I love when a plan falls into place". But, what do I know. I just know he is a trickster and not real.

The threat of terrorism is real however it is now and will always be a world-wide threat. No amount of fighting in Iraq is going to thwart the world-wide threat of terrorism from any and everywhere in the world. The last time I checked, Bin laden was operating from Afghanistan or Pakistan. Bush is using a global threat to try and sell us the war in Iraq. And most of us aren't buying.
