"Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" is a song by Australian hard rock band AC/DC. It is the first track of their Australian album Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, released in September 1976 (see 1976 in music), and was written by Angus Young, Malcolm Young, and Bon Scott. It is also the first track on the international version of Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, released in November 1976. The international version was not released in the United States until April 1981 (see 1981 in music).

Joan Jett and The Blackhearts covered it in 1990

AC/DC released this song first. After Bon Scott died they dug up 'dirty deeds done dirt cheap' out of the vaults. The song was a 'throwaway' they didn't think people would like so they didn't release it until AFTER Bon Scott's death. The song of course is one of the many AC/DC anthems now! Classic is where you find it! :-)
