To clarify im generally really happy when im with my freinds and im 16. They give me everything i could want, food money shelter support and reasonable curfew and acceptance of my not so good habbits, but i still couldnt give a damn about any of them or there problems. Inf act i sometimes fight with my mom just to see her cry. Its like a game to me

I do not like the way that you feel.. but I CAN kinda see why you feel the way that you do.
You are just growing up (I mean, lets all give you a break, you are 16) and getting to know yourself, as the dynamic of your relationship with your parents and the rest of your family is changing.

You will grow out of it... just keep in mind that your parents are human, so they will always annoy you and make mistakes, and its all up to YOU to overlook their mistake and try to get along with them.

But don't sweat it... as long as you do not feel like commiting any kind of violent act towards them.. your feelings are normal.

BTW, I don't think that you are depressed, I just think that you are bored and it seems like nobody gives a damn about anything about you.
Get a hobby... start exercising, attend a dance class...or something! :) goodluck!

Umm..I have felt that way before (when I was younger) I'm 22 now. Are you using any drugs of any kind?? Depression? I'm not sure. I think that is just a lame excuse. You may just be tired or grouchy. Not sure. Feel free too email me if you want. I also have a myspace ( myspace.com/fordgirl85 )

It's very sad that you and your family have no building of a relationship based on fun, laughter, birthdays and common experiences.

Does that mean you're depressed? Not necessarily.

Maybe you just have no common interests.

I can tell that you're not interested in reaching out to start a relationship, and you have your own reasons for that. Maybe later on in life family bonds will become more important to you. If everyone involved is still alive, don't expect them to welcome you with open arms.

You don't have to like your family, but it makes life easier if you live with them. You are either depressed or going through a phase. Are you a teenager and just got in trouble?

Are you referring to a spouse and kids or parents and siblings. If it is a spouse and kids, then I would say you may need to talk to a professional. If it is parents and siblings, they may just be getting on your nerves. Take a break from them. There is nothing wrong with that.

no where is it law that you have to like anyone in your family.
I know I don't much care for my family either, but for the sake of peace I just kind of ignore them.
