So I stop at a stop light with one car ahead of me. Now it's the kind of intersection that has a railroad track running parallel to the main road. So there is the line before the barriors and flashing lights, and that line is where you stop. Well the guy infront of me stops at the line, waits then pulls all the way up to the tracks...only to wait a few more minutes before the light changes...
Why do people feel the urge to do that? What if for whatever reason train came speeding down the tracks and you couldn't move your car? Or if the train derailed...? What's the point?

No idea sorry! Maybe the driver has a death wish. I wouldn't do that near railroad tracks, but had it been any regular light, I normally roll forward when I know the light is about to turn green.

Ha! i know what you mean! Some people like to live dangerously. And they're so impatient! It's like they want to make sure noooobody gets in front of them. So foolish! This sounds like it freshly happened, today. LOL

lst's see... 12 feet @ 2.5 mph... hmmm. he must be important to need to save several nanoseconds in his busy day. it's just like people who continue to accelerate right up to the "jam on the brakes" moment when approaching a red light.
