my friend is always talking baby talk to her dog.now it would not be soo bad (i do it too) btu she does it on the phone!! how can i tell her to stop doing it?

For some reason in life I have noticed that women always baby talk to dogs and babies. I would just tell her, "your dog is NOT a baby!"

You could just tell her to stop but, I'm sure it won't work. I baby talk all my animals and if someone said, "stop baby talking your dog." I still wouldn't stop. Some people just do that.

you cannot stop her. don't even try. some people treat their pets like children. some go overboard because they didn't get that kind of affection when they were growing up and are making up for it now. people tend to become opposites of their parents. if it really irritates you then talk that same way to your pet in front of her and let her hear how silly it sounds.

Don't bother saying anything unless asked. But always walk out of hearing distance when she does it. If she asks why, wish I am sure she will one day, then say you'd prefer not to hear such silliness, smile and switch topics quickly.
