I cannot stand GB, you have only got to look at his cabinet he has chosen, and that will give you your answer. We are in for a very tough time.

It seems to me, that GB could not wait for Tony Blair to get out the door.

As politicians I think they are both consummate self seeking liars, and that this country has no politician I would trust to fetch a tin of sardines from the shops for their mother.

However I will wait to see what Mr Brown does before passing any comment, but I'm afraid that in my opinion, Mr Blair was one of the most untrustworthy politicians this country has ever had, and was only elected due to the ravages imposed on the country by Mr Major and his satellites.

Tony Blair

I believe that Tony Blair is a much better choice.

#1) Brown has already stated that the Blair era is over and it is time to push it aside and attack the "real issues".

#2) Blair was never afraid to do what he said he would do. After Blair fully endorsed Brown, Brown decided to go in another direction.

#3) Also, we have seen what Blair has done and can do. Brown is just beginning and I believe he alot to prove. Probably alot more than he can handle.

I can't say I'm looking forward to the Brown premiership but I am glad to see the back of Blair's war mongering, lies, spin and corruption. I'm overjoyed to see the back of Cherie too.

If Brown can restore democracy by re-instating cabinet government and the independence of the Civil Service then that will be a good thing. If he has the guts to sort out the West Lothian question that will be a bonus. Whilst he's at it he can put his money where his mouth is and get the streets fit for ordinary citizens to walk in without fear. Build more prisons Gordon!

Tony Blair has HAD his "day in the sun..." It's time a New P.M. tried his hand at it. 10 years of ONE leader- is about enough... I hope Mr. Blair can do some good in the Middle East. -They need ALL the help they can get... :)

This is a moot question since Gordo is in & Blair is out. All that's left is a new election to change the status quo.
