Dont use a pad! It will absorb water from the pool.
You cannot do that.

not a good idea! Use a tampon. Honestly if you are not going to be out of the pool (or whatever) you dont really need one. The blood will wash away and no one can tell. Ive had to do this before. Just take a pad with you swimming and when you get out, say you have to use the bathroom and put a pad on lol. hope this helps!

no!! you can not use a pad while going swimming. i don't mean to sound rude but have you ever seen a kid in a wet diaper that was so wet that it looked like it was gonna explode..well that would happen if you wore a pad in the pool. it would get very water logged and the sticky part wont be sticky any more so now your risking it falling out. whether it falls out or not people will know your on your period. the pad will blow up and would like pull the bottom of your bathing suit down.. just don't do it. if you don't use a tampon you really don't have any other option. i know people say your period stops while in the water but i still wouldn't go in with out any protection cause chances are that you will be going in and out of the pool and the last thing you want is to have blood running down your leg in front of a group of people when they are not all girls.

I personally don't swim while bleeding you can use a tampon but a pad would be gross it's going to absorb the water of the pool and therefore do you no good because it will not absorb the blood.

just try a tampon, swimming with a pad WILL NOT work, it will show out of your swimsuit and it will fill up with water so the blood will go all over the pool. not good.

Please think about your question.
What does a pad do? It soaks up FLUID. Therefore it will soak up WATER. Therefore a pad is udderly useless in the water.
You cannot use a pad while swimming.
You must use a tampon.
Buy the slenderest plastic applicator tampon and read the pamphlet very carefully. Ask an adult female for assistance.

Nope, a pad won't do. It will absorb the water and it will be as useless as it would be if you didn't wear one at all...
your only option is a tampon, sorry
good luck :)

I wouldn't suggest it. It'll fill with wate, get bulky and be noticable. I'd say try tampons they aren't that bad! You could get a small absorbancy to be more comfortable trying it for the first time.
Have fun, pool parties are the best!

I don't think you can, what if you do a dive and it falls out? Or what happens if you leak in the water? Learn to use a tampon. Don't use a liner, it's way too thin and it'll get wet.
