You'll do better to get a set of those low profile drive up ramps so you can drive the front wheels on to the ramps to get under the car to get to the oil drain plug.

Most cars take a 14/15mm socket or wrench to loosen the drain plug and you'll need an oil drain pan that holds six quarts or so. Also, an empty five gallon bucket/pail with a lid or pour spout. A small funnel, an oil filter wrench, and some paper towels or shop rags. If you have grease fittings on any of the steering joints, you can buy a grease gun and a tube of grease to lube these steering joints.

Make sure the car is in park and the parking brake is on and chock the wheells before you start working on it.

Most cars will take anywhere from 4&1/2 quarts to 6 quarts of oil with a filter change. Your car will take 5W30 oils.

Once you fill up your collection bucket with used oil, you can take it in to any opf the shops or parts retailers that collect or recycle used motor oil.

Good Luck!

On a honda, it will tell you on the oil cap what kind of oil to use. I do believe it is 5w30. You need to jack up the car and pull the drain plug. you then need to take out the oil filer and let the system drain. Put a small dab of oil on the seal of the new filter to get it to seal properly and screw back in place. Put drain plug back in and refill. check you manual for proper amount needed for filling. After done, check dipstick and make sure no check engine lights come on.

your local auto parts store can provide you with the correct oil 5w 30 and filter and a wrench that wraps around the old filter so that you can unscrew it if it was placed too tight to unscrew by hand.
i would get plenty of cardboard to lay on and to catch the drippings from the filter and drain. (it's not all going to neatly drain into your oil pan.) the socket size for unscrewing the plug is probably a 14 mm. turn the plug and the filter counter clockwise to remove, clockwise to tighten.

I agree with twinturbo ...the only thing I would add is that your honda takes 4 quarts.
