My first thought was, "Oh my God." I couldn't believe that an entire family was dead. I didn't even speculate that Chris actually committed murder. When the truth was revealed, I was angry that Chris didn't even spare his own son. Something inside him snapped that weekend, either it was the steroids or something much more deeper. The WWE or his own wife didn't really know Chris Benoit. Now they know him for who he really was, a sick, violent man who needed psychiatric help.

mixed thoughts of path. interest on your paintings and the dedication to proceed your profession inspite of such countless stumbling blocks is something that many wrestlers are lacking at present. Benoit grow to be a type of few that any authentic wrestling fan favorite and respected for his ambition, the two out and in of the hoop. i grow to be bowled over and floored when I heard the preliminary information of his demise. It grow to be in basic terms rumour.. i've got strayed faraway from the WWE interior the previous 5-6 years for many motives and does not have caught the printed if it weren't for some acquaintances. inspite of so little exposure to the sport at present, i grow to be deeply saddened via the passing of Eddie Guerrero.. and Benoit grow to be even worse. I had observed Chris' profession simply by fact the early '90s and continuously seen him between the in basic terms right to step interior the hoop. Seeing Eddie and Chris interior the hoop whilst he gained the international Heavyweight call positioned a grin on my face, and suddenly.. they are the two long gone. Awkward thoughts strengthen whilst anybody hears the small print of his demise, and disbelief grow to be the topic of the day. I in basic terms basically wish anybody who discovers Benoit through media assurance and rapidly tags him as a barbaric son of a *****, could additionally settle for that the guy grow to be as quickly as a brave soul that earned the honor and dignity that he won from anybody who knew him not basically through comradery, yet from his rockhard determination and uplifting spirit. relax in Peace Chris

It saddens me greatly. The man was obviously sick, and had a past history of spousal abuse. I can only speculate that it was because of steroids, but regardless of the reason, here is yet another example of why domestic violence needs to be taken more seriously in this country.

all the years i watched him on telly, i had no idea he would do anything like this, he was one of the greatest wrestlers i have ever seen, but what he did is incredibly hard to believe.
i don't know what to think, since this happened. i guess we will find out what the reason's are, if ever they can work it out

Yah, I'm more old school WWF, but man this news was crazy. Poor wife and kid. Every story I read tried to infer that steroids were the cause, but who knows.

I think its unbelievable. Chris is the most respectable person you could ever meet. I'll never believe it. But my opinion is when they said he put bibles next to his son and wife's body's meant is wasn't out of rage. Its gotta be something that made him do it. I still believe he is respectable. Period.

one can only hope it spreads the message of the damage - both physically and mentally - that can be brought on by the use of steriods. a terribly tragic situation, overall.
