yes but the "style" of humor isn't vile or vindictive. I would think it to be kinda "dry"

Totally! It has been mentioned in the bible several times. Google it! God has done so many amazing, wonderful things in my life, using humor. Laughter is so incredibly healing. Joy is a fruit of the spirit...
Many years ago, I was driving an old, beatup car from highschool, and moved to an area that was consistantly over 90* daily.
I prayed desperatly for a car. I asked for: Automatic and A/C-I didn't care about anything else. As an afterthought, I said, God, PLEASE, no bright red.
Well, my brother ended up selling me his BRIGHT RED car w/automatic and a/c.! He let me make $150.00 a month payments and sold it dirt cheap.
Although I only had the car for a short time, I accepted it, and associated it with the blood of Jesus, who set up free from crystal meth at that time......way back in 1998. Barely a year later, I was totally blessed with being able to drive way nicer cars. God is good! All the time!
