I accept India lose 2 wkts in quick succession...Then he should bat 50 overs,Look at his score 99 frm 150 balls.Sachin's runout in 99 cannot b projected as unselfish batting. He was slow aftr 85 and trying to take only singles when India have lost jst 2-3 wkts...He ran 4 the second only 2 complete 100.otherwise he would have not run.Sachin will b the first person 2 acknowledge(in his mind) dat it was not a fair innings...We indians still will not cricticize sachin. But we should remember dat no player is greater than the game.We cannot jst sit and say dat he is a God of cricket and he is the greatest batsmen...I agree dat he is a gr8 batsmen perhaps the greatest but he is not the best now...He has not won India matches in recent times.Especially last 2 yrs..He seems 2 be batting 2 prove a point.. He doesnt need 2 prove anything...He should come out of his shell and play well rather than thinking abt milestones and no of runs he scores..Nowa days he seem 2 be too much bothered by these things.Hopefully he will play a gr8 innings and make Indians proud again..............

That was no slow batting, even Australia had done the same thing, he took care of the team what the hell is wrong with u guys,, leave him alone he is the world's greatest player, whever times come he proves that he is still young and he still has power and he is still a mathc winning player. If he was not there India would be all out in like 150 runs. He is not a selfish player. Selfish players like Adam Gilchrist are being supported by ppl who always cheat to make records.

I do not think that it was slow or selfish batting, but the batting accordinging to the need of the hour. Since 2 quick wickets had fallen,he had to make sure that there was nocollapse at the top order.Hence it is totally unfair to term it as a slow and selfish batting. If it was a selfish batting, he would not have been run out and would have been satisfied with one run insteadof attempting for the second run and get stranded out of the crease.

By and large people like Tendulkar and Gavaskar are always selfish making their own records. When their selfishness affect the win of Indian team, it really irritate us. Even Kapildev had asked in one of his intervews in how many of the games India have own in which Tendulkar scored century. Now it is time for Tendulkar to think about all these and quit the game to give way to youngsters.

Sachin may have been a great player once, but those days are long gone. its not only useless but also unfair to ourselves that we still expect him to make runs like he used to.
also its not fair to say that just because he does not bat well we lost the match. what were the others doing ? are they playing for free ? dont we pay them ?
its time for sachin to get back to his form and if he cant do it, move away and let the younger players take over. he cant expect to be given star status for the way he plays.
time for us to come out of the tendulkar spell and start looking for other good batters.

this was not selfish batting by the master blaster it was just that he was planning a stratergy to make many runs as possible, but when wickets were tumbling what could he do apart from staying at the crease and make sure that they were no more wickets taken by the south africans....so overall he did his bit but what did the others do just went tumbling....he even ran a second run to make the runs quickly thats why he got run out....if he was selfish he would have taken more balls but he didnt thats what i call a mster...good going sachin i will back you no matter what keep it up and this time belt the south africans......good luck sach10

He plays for himself and not for the team. I think it was a Devinne justice that he was out at 99. From all angles Sachin's cricketing days are over and he should make a room for some young and talented player.
