If they're TRYING to act masculine, yes. If their natural characteristics are masculine in nature, then no. I'll tell you one thing about myself that very few people know, only a few close friends: I suffer from Multiple Personality Disorder or Dissociative Identity Disorder. I have a separate personality named Fred. Fred's not a guy. She's all women. But she think's most women are weak. She hates emotional outbursts. She drinks like a man. She smokes like a man. Her attitudes are like those of a man. That's just her nature. If I met her outside of myself, I'd think she was a *****, but I wouldn't find her disgusting in the least.
(Don't worry. Fred hasn't been heard from in years. Hopefully, she won't make another appearance.)

It depends. A lot of what we consider 'masculine' is just based on culture. Like 100 years ago a girl wanting to go to college or to play baseball or to wear pants in public was considered 'masculine'. In the Arab world, a woman driving a car is considered masculine--how dumb is that?
I like a girl who is assertive, who has an opinion, who knows what she thinks. I think some girls are afraid to speak up because they think they'll be seen as masculine, so instead they're just DULL. The range of things allowable for a girl is much bigger today than just a few years ago, and I think that's good, don't you?

Maybe not 'disgusting', but definitely a little weird...But we're a continuously changing society. Look at all these straight males who we can't make heads or tails out of their gender! But, in all honesty, I think femme males are seen more 'normally' than manly females. Not to say I wouldn't accept either of them..

Not really. I have a friend who is biologically female, but changed her name to a male one, and lives as a male. She is quiet, intelligent, and a good friend. Her masculine clothing and name, as far as I'm concerned, are her own business. She doesn't criticize my lifestyle, and I don't criticize hers. I've also met a few interesting stone butches, and also drag kings. Yes, they're masculine in their behavior, but they're still fun to talk to. They're masculine, but not macho, which I consider something else altogether. The whole over-the-top macho act makes anybody look like a walking cartoon, whether male or female.

Very much so. I think it looks good for women to be tone but when they start having muscles as big as Arnold Schwarzenegger , it starts looking ugly.

Yes, it's very strange to me, especially the mannish gay ones who go with the feminine lesbians. I'm like- if you're gonna date a woman who looks like a man, wouldn't it make more sense to just date an actual man?
