New Year's Eve. I won't go out, but it's a long story. One year when I was first married, I went to a party with some folks from church who lived in the country. I came out after midnight, started the car, it was front wheel drive and I broke the axle.

The next year, I went to a party with a different family from church, also in the country. I had my wife and my father with me. I had a flat tire on the way home, on a rural road. I went to a farmhouse to borrow a flashlight. They said, "We have a flashlight, but we won't loan it to you."

It went on and on like that. After I was divorced, I was dating a woman. We went to a party at her church. She went home with another guy.

There's more, but you can see the pattern.

*starts singing* Veery superstitious, writings on the wall, very superstitious, ladders 'bout to fall. 13 month old baby, broke the looking glass. 7 years of bad luuuck, good things in the paaast. When you believe in things, that ya don't understand, then you suffer, superstition ain't the waaay.
Lol, yes, I am superstitious to a point, but not quite to where I avoid black cats or $6.66 or anything like that. Granted I notice random things, but I'll place a penny on the ground heads up randomly, especially if I'm having a bad day. That way maybe someone will have a good one :)

No.The only thing that scares me is the ladder will fall on me and the black cat will scratch me.

Not really, but the funny thing is I'm open to the possibility of the supernatural.
