Would we be more happy or less happy since there'd be no dispair, death, pain, etc.
Do you think another box with bigger troubles would come about?

Supposedly we'd never have experienced evil, therefore, we'd be in a state of tranquility, peace and harmony. Only when evil entered the world did suffering and pain become a reality. However, Pandora's box is only a parable to try to rationalize evil's entry into the world and why we suffer and die. In reality, evil entered the world through our own mistaken thinking and one day, we will realize that evil never really existed except in our own imaginations. At that point, evil will once again disappear into ignomany from whence it came, and man will return to his true state of being, a perfect, whole, harmonious being with no lack, no pain, no suffering and no death.

Ultimately this box opening can be blamed on Zeus, who was a petty, vindictive ruler. He ordered Hephaestus to create Pandora in the first place.. what if he had never had her created? Then out of jealousy, Hera gave her curiosity.
The only thing left in the box when Pandora slammed it shut was hope. If Pandora had not opened the box, humans would all still be the dimwitted creatures controlled by the Gods. Oh wait.. too late for some >:D.

Why was it in the box?
Roger Zelazny, in a short story called "Too late the Herald", showed that Hope might be the greatest ill of them all...

It would be problem free...............but no....wait.........Eve and Adam ate the forbidden fruit so, in the end it doesn't matter and we are all doomed to a painful fate....but what do I know....I'm just a nobody passing through... .
