Strenuous aerobic exercise, every morning until you work up a good sweat, then try and eat a reduced calorie healthy diet. I'm not sure you'll loose 1 pound a day, but good luck!

Losing one pound of real fat and not just water weight means you have to burn 3,500 calories more than what you have ingested today.
So...you can say, do a cardio workout for 6-12 hours (depending on the intensity) and lose a pound, and of course, over stress your heart, tear and injur your muscles, suffer from shin splints, and no one will be able to tell the next day by looking at you that you lost a pound in 24 hours.

I don't think it's possible, you might be able to lose 7 pounds in a week but not 1 a day, if that makes sense. Don't eat and take laxatives. You will only lose water weight though and gain it back when you start eating again.

it might be possible if you're obese and this is your first week or two of extreme dieting. other than that, no i don't think it's possible to maintain this rate of weight loss over time. the body naturally plateaus itself in regards to weight loss over time, making it harder and harder to shed a pound while requiring more and more rigorous workout effort to lose that weight. also, you may be building muscle depending upon what you're doing to lose the weight, which weighs more than fat. this will slow down your weight loss, maybe even add weight. But increased muscle mass will increase your metabolism and burn fat while you rest.

if you want an unhealthy way to loose weight is by barfing and not eating anything at all :) I don't recommend it though, it's very dangerous. Actually, I don't think you can loose one pound in one day

I know that I can but thats because I have a fast metabolism. You could try eating nothing but apples all day and drinking only water.
