if your periods are regular then you typically are most fertile around 14 days after the first day of your last period. that is usually when you ovulate (release an egg). so it is unlikely you will get pregnant during your period. However, it is not gaurenteed that is when you will ovulate depending on your diet, stress, exercise, how regular your menses are...etc. if you are sexually active it would be worth your time to see your doc and get on birth control which makes you have regular periods and stops you from ovulating thus making it very very very unlikely you will get pregnant. even if you do ovulate on birth control (the chances are very slim but some do which is why some ppl get preg while on the pill) the pill also prevents pregnancy in other ways. if you don't want to get on the pill i would still recommend using protection for your own saftey from stds and so you can worry a little less.

Well how regular are your periods?? if they are regular then you don't need to worry about getting pregnancy during your period.
There is no chance that you will be pregnant while on your periods. Also 1 week after the period is over is a safe period for a woman to have intercourse without worring about being pregnant.
For your future reference if you do have unprotected sex. There is a pill called "Plan B" which is over the counter and if taken within 72 hours after the intercourse can prevent the unwanted pregnancy.
Good luck
take care

Well, the chances aren't good, but it can happen. If you don;t want to get pregnant, use protection, no matter where you are in your cycle.

Assuming your periods are somewhat regular (making your ovulation more regular), pretty low. But it's still definately possible, and you should always use contraception is you want to avoid pregnancy.
