Well, the air on Venus, is 96.5% carbon dioxide, and 3.5% Nitrogen, so for the most part is does not stink, though the third most gas is Sulfur Dioxide, with 0.015%. This chemical does smell, though not like rotten eggs (that's hydrogen sulfide). Sulfur Dioxide is the smell that burning coals makes, or rather, the smell of burning sulfur. It, however, is so infrequent in the atmosphere that it would probably be a very faint stench.
Have a great day!

Well, one might hardly call Venus's atmosphere *air.* However, it would certainly not smell terribly pleasant. Acids like sulfuric will quickly cause burns on the fragile skin inside your nose. It will probably not, however, smell like rotten eggs, as that particular property is usually reserved for other types of sulfur compounds.
Oh, and by the way, I believe that Russia sent a probe to Venus back during the Cold War. If I recall correctly, it lasted only minutes in the scorching heat and acid.

The atmosphere would smell awful, but you'd lose consciousness immediately, so it wouldn't matter. The surface temperature is something like 750 Fahrenheit, so you wouldn't live long.
Hydrogen sulfide is the rotten egg chemical, not sulfuric acid.
