What's the deal with nudists?

I mean, they say it's not sexual and they're not exhibitionists. So then, what's the big deal about walking around with your stuff hanging in the breeze? I mean, if you want to do that why not just walk around in your house? Why is the presence of other nudists important? Why make a huge effort to live in a special place like a nudist colony or go to the nudist beach and take a chance on getting arrested and having gawkers look at you. I don't get it.

I don't either. While they say it's liberating, I say it's restrictive. You miss so much of the world when you are confined to the colony. It doesn't make sense, just put on some clothes, instead of being rebellious and trying to prove a point, not worth proving. Plus clothes are fun :)

The deal is they are naked. Most people don't walk around naked accept in their private homes. I've never been to a nudist colony but I do have an imagination and I just can't imagine a man seeing a pretty girl nude (no matter the age of the man) and him not get an erection. Now maybe that might be a grand sight for some but I would much rather be in the privacy of my home with my husband then to be on a beach and see all of these men walking around with their penises standing at attention. And women - who wants to see saggy boobs everywhere? I know there are some beautiful people but when Adam and Eve ate that fruit - that meant put your clothes on - blame them - they did it. Sorry but if you've ever seen a pornographic movie then that's the deal with the nudists - stiff ***** - the whole shabang.

It is not important for nudists to have others around and it is not important as to WHERE they want to walk around.

I have friends that are nudists and see nothing wrong with it, I just personally like clothes. But if they want to walk on the beach, so be it.

What's the deal with you caring so much? Why do you have to worry about other people?

we were born naked so why not just stay that way. the reason nudists live in nudist colonys is because if they decided to go to the store naked in any other town they would be arrested. its like if you like the ocean you would move to the coast. if you liked being cold you would move somewhere up north. if you liked it hot you would move somewhere down south and if you liked to be naked you would move to a nudist colony. simple as that.

Where I live we have several miles of nudist beach. It has nothing to do with sex. It is not dirty - that is in feeble minds that know no better. It is simple freedom.

Those that cannot envisage being naked where others are about lack self confidence and have both a poor image of themselves and usually a dirty mind!!!!

Religion made nudity shameful. There is nothing wrong with the human body (unless God made mistakes). If you were able to walk around without clothing, you would ask, "Whats wrong with people who wear clothes?"

are there nudists that live near you? yeah i dont really get why they would go and walk around naked in a non nudist place. they have to respect other people's thoughts and stuff.

the difference between nudism and exhibitionism is that exibitionism is about being nude in order to get attetion from those around you, etc.
they do it because they want the body to be seen as normal instead of a shameful, ugly thing.
