Possibly because alcohol and tobacco are legally bought and sold, and available with no permit other than date of birth. "Drugs" has come to be synonymous with illegal or illegally obtained substances.

possibly to be specific.And not all are drugs.But you don't want to abuse your use of that stuff.It cause cause some harmfull damage to your body.Don't over do anything expefically if your underaged.Thats ILLEGAL!!!!!!! And you shouldn't use anything thats illegial where you live.LAW!!!
We should all just be carefull no matter what it is or how old.Drugs are bad people!!!!! And the older ones should be showing GOOD exaples to kids.And not show them how to use those drugs or alcohol or stuff like that!!!

Because tobacco and alcohol AREN'T DRUGS. Only those stupid TRUTH commercials want you to believe they are. Drugs are drugs. Tobacco is cigarettes, not a drug. Alcohol is a liquid, not a drug.
