I would say matching and old maid??? I don't know exactly what you are talking about matching, but if you mean where the cards are all face down, and you flip up two at a time matching them together, trying to remember where the same card is then yes definitely memory. ANd same with old maid, to be good you must remember where different cards are.

All those games require memory. If you did not use memory, you would have to relearn the game each time you played, and each hand you played.
