Shish Kebabs, candy apples, corn on the cob. Is it the wood or what?

because what is on the other end of the stick is full of fat and calories.

I don't know if I agree -- Peanut Butter & Jelly wouldn't be so good with a stick in it. Neither would Mac & Cheese. I don't think it's about the taste, but rather the novelty and/or convenience of eating those foods on a stick.

its the way it cooks it...kind of like steaming it in a way. other for kebabs, its the fact that you eat a variety of foods in one bite that makes it so good....PLUS this stuff is made on the grill usually, and we all know that stuff on the grill just tastes better.

all the nutrients from the stick soak into the food and your body thinks it's healthier... MSG effect, essentially.

.... not really. i think we just have more fun eating it that way. we can get in touch with our primal instincts for knawing food off a poker in a relatively civilized way...

lol, i don't know for sure, but i do know that without the stick, a corndog wouldn't have HALF as much appeal!!

maybe its in the way we eat them, they do'nt need a spoon or a fork, we just bite them.
