It doesn't really mean that the name-caller thinks the person is a prostitute. It's an insult to a woman, calling her low-class and worthless. Women shouldn't take this kind of insult from any man, but it does show what men really think of women who have more than one sexual partner. They have no respect for woman, no matter what they say to us, they say the truth to each other.
