I swear that is where a friend of ours is doing his community service time....working in the bar at the local VFW. He is working off a Drunk Driving Offense. Does that sound okay to you?

Hmmm. I'm keeping my mouth shut. He's just doing what he was ordered to do. It does sound like a quaint little community though. I'm betting the judge is a drinking man himself.

It does NOT sound good but it may end up that way.

This friend has a 50/50 chance of emerging from the community service a better person. Think about it...if he can resist temptation, then he's less likely going to be a repeat offender.

On the other hand, I would NOT permit a pedophile to work in a day care center to work off his community service! But that's a higher element of criminal we'd be dealing with.

it rather is not something while in comparison with what a DUI value me, my fiance replaced into killed by a drunk driving force top in front of me,,,,,in some situations the harmless pay a plenty larger cost, evaluate your self fortunate and take what you have been given, if i could been the decide you would be spending some weeks on the grey bar inn.

If it works, that is great, but many people who get DUIs should stay away from alcohol entirely. Strange logic, but what the heck.

I just hope he doesn't get extra community service time for driving any veterans home afterwards.
