Where exactly did this saying come from? How are foxes crazy? Do you think the Fox Network is crazy? What do you think about this?

Best guess is that the saying originated from people observing that while a fox's actions appear arbitrary and nonsensical, they actually support its goal, catching dinner. So while the fox may look crazy, it's actually quite purposeful.

Fox network is for big business and that spells out Republicans. So their praganda is solely what they want them to say.
Foxes are smart.. They get the saying crazy like a fox.
Because foxes zig and zag and back track and it throws the dogs off the scent. It looks crazy but it saves their life.
NOw how this means them is anyones guess.
Maybe they appear crazy but underneath it all they have a plan. If they do I wish they would let us know about it.

Crazy like a fox, is actually an oxymoron, used in its intended form. It comes from the British, big on fox hunting. The word crazy here actually means smart or cunning . The fox often eludes the hunters by some ingenious means and the term was born.
