i want to buy this modem but i don;t know whether it has port forwarding or not. Cuz i hate modems that have that(already have one)

Well to be honest, ALL MODEMS port forward period! They are not routers they are "bridge" devices. Since the 300T appears to be a straight modem it too will port forward (all ports are open).

If you want to BLOCK port traffic inbound you need a router with NAT (net address translation) this will provide blocking of inbound traffic unless specific ports are opened! So keep your current modem and add a router.

you are able to no longer use a dsl modem for dial up. in case you have a variety of why do you even pick dial up interior the 1st place...eh regardless you will could get a dialup modem to apply a dial up connection
