100% Metallica. Avril was good with her first two albums but I can't stand her now. She's lost her touch.

you cannot even compare Avril Lavigne to Metallica.
I like Avril because she is Canadian and she's doing her thing.
but between the two....Metallica is my fave. Not their new stuff though it kinda sucks...their old stuff is amazing.
But metal vs pop rock...you can't compare.
they're both good because each person has their own opinons.
I think you two need to just agree that you listen to different genres and both are good.

well metalica is a real rock band and avril is a poser pop chick trying to be cool and sell albums to people who think she's real. case in point her remake of girlfriend with lil mama, what is rock or punk about that? plus she didn't even really write the song and i can't think of any songs metalica played and didn't write.
