My tree is covered in Mistletoe, and though the tree is green with leaves, I want to plan ahead to the fall and attack this crap once and for all... Thanks for your help.

I've got it too. The only effective way to get rid of it is to cut off the limb where the mistletoe is growing. The roots can extend one foot on either side. Of course, that is drastic if you have a lot of it and cutting off all the limbs will kill the tree. So I just let it be.

you will have to cut it out, and by that I mean each branch with mistletoe will need to be cut back to the next joint. Its drastic, but if you don't cut it out your tree will eventually die.

Hey, did you know that you can sell that "crap" on EBay for $$$? Yea, it's really popular around the holidays. Just something to consider.
