Charlotte Bobcats became my favorite team when I first watched one of their games in either 2004 or 2005,but they were playing the Bulls on WGN.They didn't when but they put up a good fight.Ever since then I've been a fan and root for them every year. They are my favorite team because most of them are underdogs and play with heart.Someday they will be champions and I can say I watched them through good and bad times.

I became a Celtics fan during the 1984 NBA Finals between Boston and the Lakers. They were cocky, and after McHale's "accidental" clothesline of Kurt Rambis on a fastbreak, the series turned towards the Celtics' favor. That was a very memorable series and needed the full 7 games to decide the outcome. I just liked the way the Celtics play, they were a strong rebounding team, they shot the ball well from the perimeter, they punished opponents from the paint, and passed the ball well. Of course, seeing Larry Bird do everything on the court had a lot to do with me becoming a Celtics fan. And it didn't matter that I lived halfway around the world, and only got to see Boston in May of 2005.
Shortly thereafter, I learned about the Celtics' past, their history, their players, and championships. Their 1986 team, in my honest opinion, is the greatest single-season team ever assembled. Since the 1984 Finals, I have stayed loyal to the Celtics and never have I turned my back on them even during bad (and humiliating) times. It's been more than 21 years since their last NBA title, but I see good things from them, and hopefully the team comes out better after this coming draft.

I moved to Oregon right before the Trailblazers won the championship. I was already a big fan of Bill Walton. I became a fanatic fan of the Blazers from then on. Things were great when they hired a coach that I had attended high school with, Rick Adleman. They had a great team with Clyde, Jerome, Cliff, Terry and co. They've had some great teams since. Today, they will add the missing ingredient for the next great team!

Spurs! Spurs! Spurs!
Going to Spurs games at the old HemisFair Arena was so much fun.
I remember the Baseline Bums throwing avocados and guacamole at/on Larry Brown (yes, that Larry Brown!).
In the 30 years since the Spurs joined the NBA (they were an ABA team before that), the Spurs have missed the playoffs only 4 times.
So as a Spurs fan, I've had my heart broken and hopes dashed many, many years as their playoff runs were thwarted.
But I still stuck with them. One year, they won only 20 games. Ack.
So, for you other fans---hang in there with your favorite team. Their time will come!

the Detroit Pistons! Especially when Ben Wallace was there. VA represent! They didn't have just one or two stars on their team trying to carry the whole group. They had Ben Wallace, Rasheed Wallace, Tayshaun Prince, Hamilton, & Billups! And all of them held it down! They played real street ball and it wasn't like how Iverson was always carrying the 76ers on his back. They were a real TEAM. It reminded me of the Bulls back in the day when they had Jordan, Pippen, Rodman, & the rest. The year the Pistons beat the Lakers was awesome because Kobe and Shaq were not being a TEAM.

My favorite team is the Cleveland Cavaliers. I've grown up in Ohio my entire life, watching and falling in love with all Cleveland sports teams and the Buckeyes as well. My dad is a die-hard Cleveland sports fan as well, plus, LeBron is from Akron, which is pretty sweet. I LOVED the Cavs when they only won 17 games, the season before we got LeBron, and not to mention the countless years before that when they stunk. I've been a die hard fan of this team my entire life, not like the rest who are just rooting for them or like them because they have LeBron and are very good now. When they start stinking again, I'll still watch them, while all these other fans will disappear. Go Cavs!

I Love the Nuggets. Big Orangeman fan, started seeing this little guy from rival Georgetown that amazed me more than any player ever had, ''Iverson''. When he was drafted I became a huge Sixer fan for years then Melo won a NCAA title for my Cuse and went to Denver. Was a fan of Denver and Philly for a bit, then the greatest thing that could have happened did. Iverson was traded to Denver.

The lakers, my dad consistently stated the vast distinction days whilst they have been the Showtime Lakers and that they could beat communities via 30 without breaking a sweat. I watched Kobe and Shaq administration the NBA then I went back in time and watched Magic Johnson (the terrific participant ever for my area) and the Lakers beat the undesirable Boys, Larry fowl, and the 76ers. only i like the Lakers
