im just about to get into battle with mesprit so i need a answer fast. the wild mesprit is burned. and it will only survive 2 blows of the burn. so ic an only try to catch it twice. does anone know a pokemon that can use stun spore or thunder wave etc. while its able to use mean look? please answer this.

save right in front of it then every time you mess up just resume from where you started and keep throwin these type of pokeballs:
quick ball, ultra ball, and if you wait until night dusk ball and (DUH) masterballs

Well my trick is: 1.Put whoever i want to level up in the day care.(solaceon city) 2.Buy 10 pokeballs, great.., and ultra... or more if you want!! also buy potions so ur wobuffet will stay in battle, and the pokemon wont flee.. 3. Then I put a wobuffet in the very front of my line up!!! ensures the pokemon wont flee as soon as you battle.. 4.Ride your bike all the way north then south of solaceon town in a straight line. If the pokemon is in an adjacent route then then go to solaceon town then go back to the route thats near where the pokemon is..if ur in solaceon n the pokemon is on the top route n ur not on the route go to the south route it usualy go theres after!! save when its in your area just incase u defeat it.. 5. Weakin the pokemon to about red, but doesnt have to be.. 6.Start throwin regular pokeballs till ur out! the great then ultra..if u run out buy a lot more pokeballs.. 7.Say gotcha into the mic when the ball is moovin 8.the pokemons head and the pokeball looks like its flatened 9. And hope you catch the pokemon FYI: i put pokemon in the day care to level them up while you take all those steps between route, so if u get tired of not seein it ,that work wuznt for nothing!!

Wow, that really screwed things up. Change your DS to night, reach the route mesprit is on, and save. Throw a dusk ball or a quick ball, and after maybe 10 or 15 tries it will suceed. I accidentally poisoned my mesprit, and i caught it after 2 dusk balls.

If it's burned you cant paralyze it. Remeber a pokemon can only have one status condition. So have a pokemon know Fling and equip it with the berry that heals burns. If I am correct it should heal and then you could paralyze it and you wont have to worry about it dying. There are Roselia and other one that know Sun Spore but it has 75 accuarcy so beware.

u need pokemon with high speed that knows mean look or block or get a pokemon and eqip it with cleanse tag and also just catch a quagsire and it will have a cleanse tag the put it in the first slot and look for mesprit and there u go

ok if u still have ur master ball use that because this is the only pokemon that you have to chase, if not then a mothim knows stun spore but im not sure about mean look, ur best bet is to save it now and keep trying with ultra balls until you catch it. good luck

You are screwed XD. You can't override statuses. Ever wondered why you couldn't poison your sleeping opponent?
Use your masterball if you don't feel like gambling it.
