i just got a Radeon x 1650 pro and i need help. i Tried to put it in my computer but it wont fit. on the front says requires one x16 pci express slot.
does that matter? and do all good graphics card need one? im wondering if you have to like buy a pce exdpress slot.
well help me please.
i wanna install my radeon.

There are three different types of video cards PCI, AGP, PCI-E[xpress] PCI slots are usually white AGP are Normally Brown PCI-E are Long and White. what you bought was a PCI-Express Radeon. if you don't have the PCI-E slot you prob have to buy AGP or PCI and also you can't buy a PCI-E slot

well, to live up to todays standards, you need atleast a PCI Express card, PCI express cards are easier to install, and faster. Yet it depends on what games you're playing. Im on my old 2002 computer that also only has normal PCI Slots but i found a graphics card that works well (ATI RADEON 9250) with Counter Strike Source, sadly i was mad when i found out it wasnt supported by battlefield 2, thats why im building my new pc with a more "modern" motherboard so i can fit good new graphics cards in there. The ATI Radeon is 1650 is a pretty good card there, but now you realized , that all the good cards for todays games are now PCI Express.
