I know there are a million other questions like these here, but I haven't seen one where they have dizziness or blurred vision. (Well, maybe not blurred...it's like its getting dark in the room and it starts from the outside and moves inward.) This mostly happens when I stand, sit or bend down. Please answer soon if you can help.

Animalsrmyhobby, I am not asking for medical advice, i was basically wondering if anyone else had ever had this problem, as I have gotten different answers from the doctors I have seen about it. If you're going to be a smart-***, don't bother to answer.

Dizziness in and of itself -particularly when getting up from standing or laying down is a common side effect of pregnancy.
However persistent dizziness, or dizziness combined with vision problem is a SERIOUS concern and you need to be seen by a doctor ASAP. Darkness as you describe usually means you almost passed out. This could just be low blood pressure which can be normal around 20 weeks if your blood supply doesn't quite increase as quickly as it should. This can be from dehydration, poor nutrition, anemia, etc.
However dizziness and blurred vision can also mean preeclampsia.
Please get in to see your doctor tomorrow.

With the newer types of insulin these days, diabetic diets aren't necessarily as restrictive as they used to be. Read here https://tr.im/5DNNl
As with any medicine or diet change, you should discuss it with your doctor. Fruits, both fresh and dried, have a natural sugar in them that will raise blood sugar levels, so be careful about eating too much. Not sure about the nuts. Moderation is always the key. I've been diabetic for 18 years and just recently changed insulin types. I love it because it gives me more freedom in when and what I eat.

It sounds like you may be having problems with your blood pressure dropping when you rise up and this could be the problem. One other thing that I'm thinking that it could be is fluid volume deficit which can occur when you're not taking in enough fluids for you and the baby. Try upping your fluid intake for a few days and see if this relieves it. If not, check with your MD. OB is not my specialty but I have heard of this problem before.

do you get migraine headaches? when was the last time you had your blood pressure checked?
i am 23 weeks and i've had similiar headaches but i get migraines, which intensify with pregnancy. also, the amount of blood in your system increases so it's very important to stand and sit slowly and to bend at the knees so your blood doesn't rush to your head. the blurred vision lends itself to high blood pressure so you should call your healthcare provider
