My car battery is draining overnight. I checked my alternator output while running and it's fine. I checked my amperage draw with the car off and it's about 250 milliamps, normal right? The battery was put in about 9 months ago. Could the battery be bad?
P.S. The car is a 1995 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi

It's possible the battery is bad.

Take it to a parts store and have them load test it.

Next time you are out and about in the car, drop by a battery store/shop and they will check out the charging system, battery and if you have a short in your cars wiring, for FREE. You may have a short in the battery itself. Disconnect the battery tonight, and if the battery is dead tomarrow morning, you have an internal short in the battery.

The battery could be bad or you have a drain somewhere within the system.
My mother had a car this happened to. I finally discovered it was the light on the inside rear view mirror. Everytime it was adjusted, for other people driving, the light would come on but could not be seen except at night. The switch was extremely touchy.
