As long as you and your husband can FINANCIALLY AND EMOTIONALLY take care of them, I say go for it!

well, im saying that its not such a good idea. I mean, its not bad but, with all the kids you already have it would be kinda hard to give each of them the attention they need from you. Im in a family of 6, two parents and 4 kids. Both my parents work and sometimes cant give us each there full attention because we all have our difficulties. My older brother has autism (a learning disability type thing) My sister is getting surgury on her hand from a burn she got 14 years ago when she was 1 years old to get rif of the scar. My little brother has A.D.D and I have Bipolar disorder and A.R.D. Its hard for them to give us individual attention with only 4 of us. None of us act retarded or anything or need special school attention and its still hard. I think that 9 kids is enough, but if you want 1 or 2 more that might be okay, im not suggesting it tho. If you have 10 or 11 kids all at home i REALLY hope that at least one of you is at home all the time. good luck with your family, i hope that the dicision you make is best for you!

I would include your older children in the decision. I am one of 9 children and I can remember when I was growing up resenting the fact that there was "so many of us", and now when they have fewer at home they go on vacation ALL THE TIME - something we NEVER did when I was in the house.

It sounds like money isn't the problem - and I can vouch that it's POSSIBLE to have 9 plus more, but before you know it you'll have grandchildren!

If you really have the money to spare (which it sounds like you do) and your current children think it's a great idea - then go for it!

That's like an ecological crime. The world is already twice as over-populated as it needs to be and you are contributing hugely to this problem. Just think of all the poverty, famine, disease, and lost potential due to dwindling reasons. Big families reduce quality of life for everyone else.

If you want more, adopt more. Don't keep adding to an overburdened earth!

if you can afford to, adopt some more... but do you think you can give enough attention to all of them?
