I think it is unique and different. I don't like average names. I like stuff that's different.

Jaylyssa is hideous. If you don't like common names, why are you naming her Nicole? Messing up the spelling into something horrendous does NOT make it unique...

Either way, it's your baby. I hope she forgives you someday for the lifetime of embarrassment, teasing, torment and mispronouncing.

I think Jalyssa Nycolle sounds very cute but i don't care for the spelling of Nycolle, if you still want it to be an original spelling try to keep it simpler...like Nycole, Nikole, Nicolle, or Nichole. I also like the name Jesalyn, thought i would add that because it reminds me of Jalyssa sort of.

Jalyssa Nycolle is cute. However, I would recommend not doing a double y. I think the spelling of Nicole is better paired with that first name.

I think the name is very cute. I also like how you spelled Nycolle. I've seen that name spelled so many ways.

Nicole
Nichole
Nikole
Nikohl
Nikcoal

Nice choice for a name and please don't listen to the idiots who keep saying its a bad name. Its beautiful in its own unique way.

Too many Ys, too many double consonants, both names have 3 syllables, it resembles each other too much. Jalyssa it's ok, drop the nycolle. If you really want that second name, at least have the decency to spell it correctly, Nicole. Your daughter will just be upset at people not being able to spell her name when she's older.

The name sounds alright. Jalyssa is cool the way it is spelled but you should probably consider spelling Nicole like this or with an "H", the "Y" and two "L's" doesn't look right. It'll still be an unique name. Good luck.

Yes I love it.. I like your spelling of Nicole too.. Very unique. I am also very fond of unique names.

Don't listen to all of the idiots that keep telling you no, it's bad, the child will be teased.... Children get teased regardless of their names. But anyhow, don't listen to what others say about it, the only thing that matters is that you like it... I am all for unique names and IMO you shouldn't worry about what others think of the name.. You like it so go with it, it's your decision. Good luck.

It's very nice. Something to remember, though. First of all, any time you do an unusual spelling for a child's name, that child will have to correct the pronunciation and/or spelling throughout his or her life. Secondly, if you really love the name, go to the back door of your home. Open the door, lean your head out, and scream the full name at the top of your lungs at least 3 times, as if you're calling your child home for dinner. See how much you like it then. ;)

The Jalyssa part is okay but, I don't like Nicole spelled Nycolle.

No. Children are teased when they have unusual names. It's difficult enough being a child.

No one will be able to spell either name.

Give the child a break, give her a normal name, they will not EMBARASS her.

Kids have it difficult as it is and don't need the extra burden of an unusual name.

Think about when you were a kid, if you didn't get teased about something, I'm sure you know kids that did. Put yourself in her shoes.
