Only until the Oscar gets about 3 inches, and then he will eat everything. You are gonna need about a 50 gallon tank for just one Oscar because they are very large and very messy. I wouldn't suggest an Oscar, try something smaller like Gouramis (Dwarf Gouramis grow 2-3 inches), you could keep 5 in a 20 gallon and add the fish you wanted to put in with the Oscar and Gouramis have great personality and very cool colors.

Your guppies, platies and mollies can all flow mutually extremely thankfully in a 30 gallon tank. the only factor is that guppies and mollie can and could attempt to crossbreed. The fry produced by any such crossbreeding are seldom achievable, yet that doesn't supply up the fish from doing it. additionally, guppy men and molly men will attempt to chase women folk of all different species. So make valuable that the girls folk of the mixed species outnumber the boys of the mixed species in a 2 to one million ratio. this is, upload up all of the feminine fish interior the tank and determine you have 2 to one million for all of the male fish interior the tank. That way not one of the feminine fish gets under pressure too plenty and made under pressure and ill. in case you do have women folk, i could flow away your tank as is - not greater fish. you would be getting lots of fry quickly to refill your tank. in case you have all men of all species, then you will get 5 or 6 greater fish. some cories could properly be valuable. Or a touch bristle nostril pleco or oto to freshen up your algae and the foodstuff that makes it to the backside of your tank. :) 2 discus in a 30 gallon tank could desire to do only super. only confirm you cycle the tank first and shop their water circumstances very good. Discus are extremely delicate.
