The Simpsons was funnier, but the series has been falling since season 12. Right now, I'd say Family Guy is better. The season 18 fanale of The Simpsons was very good, despite it being a blatant ripoff of the Family Guy episode, PTV.

look people are keep on asking this question this all thing is called cartoon wars family guy vs Simpson's vs south park my opinion is family guy because of the clips and the better comedy i really think Seth McFarlane is a genius i spent nights tiring to find out who's jokes are funny and better i found out that family guy is better then all well you know would you really com-pair stewie with Bart we all know who will win can you com-pair peter with cartman well we could but i think peter is better i heard 69% of america like family guy better than south park ...

Family Guy is grosser than simpsons, but they are both very funny. I thin more people can stand simpsons than family guy tho.

Simpsons is just getting old & the jokes aren't as funny. Family is better with its celeberity cameos, cutaway gags, and cultural references

family guy!!!!! its more up to date and jokes on some pretty over the edge border line stuff. once you get to know the characters its the funniest thing out there!
