Kobe was the better player in High School. MJ didn't make the varsity team until he was a junior.

considering MJ never even made the team... Kobe by far... He was drafted straight out of highschool... .MJ became a star at UNC... better player overall ... MJ by far... Kobe is 2nd best all time in my opinion
