Holliday is only leading the NL in batting average, I don't really think he is over-rated. I would say that Carlos Guillen is the most under-rated. The most under-rated pitcher has to be C.C. Sabathia.
As far as overrated: I think Miguel Tejada is over-rated as is Roger Clemens. Clemens is clearly the most over-rated. He was billed as the savior of the Yankees and has yet to deliver.

Are you serious? Matt Holliday is like the most underrated player. Barry Zito is definitely overrated.

For me it would have to be Jason Giambi. He is one of the three top paid players on the Yankees making over $20 million per year. His batting average during the past five years were; 250, 208, 271, 253, and 262. It seems like his abilities were certainly overrated by the Yankees. How can you think Halliday is overrated at 349-13-60 this year and a career 317 hitter? He is one of the best young players in the game today.

How the hell could you say Matt Holliday is overrated? He's one of the BEST hitters in baseball right now, you're out of your mind. I think Mark Teixiera is overrated.

Even though I like the guy, how about Daisuke Matsuzaka? The guy gets thousands of reporters in Japan following his every pitch, has a special interpreter and massage therapist, and he basically is above the whole team. Plus, he still has an ERA over 4.00.
