I need help with email problem asap.?

Question

When I click on my email page, I am getting a box asking for my password. The password I have used in the past is not working, how to I reset or change the password.

Click on forgotten my password. Answer the security question. This must be the answer you gave when you signed up. Your password will then be e-mailed to you.

You don't say what email page you are referring to.
If you are talking about Yahoo email it is MOST unlikely your usual password won't work.
It is much more likely you have the caps lock on or if you are using a laptop, the number lock or alt function lock set, that latter one is the Fn key that makes the little blue letters and numbers work, instead of the main symbol on the keys

All "online" email systems I know of have a "I forgot my password" help function, after trying all above, you could use that. It will ask you some questions that were answered when you signed up, such as post code, date of birth, pets name etc

When You were sign in for the first time, you were asked to answer some questions that if you give the same answers now, it shows that you are the main owner of the mail and it lets you change the password. you can go to Acounts part and the part in which is writed: forget you password?

If all has failed then your best bet is to contact your mail provider by phone or email. I am with bt yahoo so i had to contact bt and they reset my password with me.
If you can tell us your provider then i can help with more information ie who do you use for email. Nothing else is needed.

there should be a possibility to press button "forgotten pasword?"....click on it and there should be controling question...or you may try to use your password again tomorrow..I had a simlliar problem and it worked next day...good luck!
