First, start off with a core philosophy that will cover a range of issues. Then set up a plank of stances on issues, argued with logic and facts, again that conform to the core philosophies your group holds.

Then start speaking whereever you can, colleges, Rotary club, whatever. Enlist people with similar ideas and zeal to do what you are doing. Start raising money, form a party, and go from there.

What's your core philosophy?

ADDITIONAL INFO: Your understanding Libertarians is faulty. Most Libertarians believe the government should do only what is specifically authorized in the Constitution. As Jefferson said, "The government is best which governs least." Check out the link below for info on the libertarians.

True, there are some Libertarians that would really want to take that as far as it could go, by trying to eliminate almost all government. But then again, there are some liberals that want to take it as far as it could go and have gov't providing for all our needs.

Your comment about libertarians has got to be one of the most ignorant comments I have ever read. Do you enjoy others controlling your life? Are you too stupid to make value judgements for yourself.

Libertarians believe in personal responsibility and liberty. You must not think to highly of yourself, if you do not think you can take responsibility for your own actions.

Let me clarify something for you so you can see the difference. Anarchists believe in NO govt. at all- social order imposed by nature itself and not by law of man. Libertarians (especially us here in the US) are technically minarchists. We believe in a govt. that is limited to national defense, basic law & order enforcement, and standard infrastructure building & maintenance. "We defend each person's right to engage in any activity that is peaceful and honest, and welcome the diversity that freedom brings. The world we seek to build is one where individuals are free to follow their own dreams in their own ways, without interference from government or any authoritarian power." So now you know.
