Go to a main dealer for the make of car you own, with proof of ownership (the registration document) and proof of ID.
They will be able to order a new key.
If the car has an immobiliser, you will need to get the car taken (by a breakdown recovery company) to the dealer to get the immobiliser programmed to recognise the new key.
If you are sensible, you'll get two new keys, so that you have a spare.
You will have to pay quite a lot - probably about £100 for each key (including reprogramming) and another £100 for the recovery company.

Answer one is correct. You will pay a premium for the keys so call ahead and check a few different dealers to see if any have a better price. Luckily this info is all recorded so the dealer can cut your keys. You could also try a locksmith but most dealers see this more often than a locksmith.

First locate your nearest lost and found in the building or area you lost them or believed to have lost them and if that doesnt help try calling a lock smith, for future reference it would be advisable to have a spare set of keys made.

If its a newer car you can bring your title or VIN number to a dealership for your car and they can usually cut you new keys from that.
