If you won a free car would you pick a Lexis, a Mercedes, an Infiniti, or a BMW?

my parents are getting me a car, and those are the ones i want the most, but i can't decide please help!

My parents got me a mercedes and I love it but if you dont get a mercedes go 4 the BMW then the Lexus... U sound a lot like me. Good luck!

Well, I am tired from reading all those answers that piss me off. Strangely, I read a lot of opinions claiming that one should not get a bmw, mercedes or audi, but an American car. This is bullshit. As an european who spent 4 yrs in the States, I must say that American cars are crap, not all but the majority. We just dumped a new 300C and Sebring that my company bought for the management (because they are cheap). Why? Because engines were hungry for fuel, automatic transmission not well tuned, interior made of inferior quality material (especially the plastics in the Sebring, oh my god). On the other hand mercedes, bmw, audi.....these have always been considered premium cars everywhere, engines, transmission, they are damn goods, and last but not least.....what makes the difference is the attention to the detail. Yesterday I drove 3.3 liter Audi A8 and it is spacious, responsive and luxury, cannot be compared to 300C.

To answer your question, If I had the choice, I would pick the 2007 CL600 - "the sporty S-klasse". Other than that brands mentioned are fine, but I would go for the German as I read a lot of reviews and all those claim that despite lexus and infitity have some really nicely designed cars, their performance is slightly worse. Mazda is not a luxury car brand. Mazda is a economical car brand which is on the same level with Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Hyundai, KIA, Ford, Volkswagen. Luxury car brands would be like Lexus, Infiniti, Accura, BMW, Porsche, Audi, and Mercedes. I think Lexus, Infiniti, and Accura. These three car brands are not very costly to maintain compared to the other luxury car brands (especially Lexus). Lexus has the least problem among all of the luxury car brand and very reliable. My sister-in-law is a Lexus owner, she bought that car 7 years ago, and her car still works well without much problems occurred. And I agree with "AUDI RS4 RULES!!!" answer regarding Infiniti and Accura. Mercedes and BMW are more likely to have problems. Mercedes cars sometimes have problems within the mechanics and the fuel. While BMW cars sometimes have electrical and glitches problems.

Do not, do not DO NOT buy either Mercedes or BMW. Mercedes ranked dead last in Consumer Reports car issue for reliability. And that was the new cars! There is not a single European car I would own on a bet. Get yourself either a Lexus (built by Toyota) or an Infinity (built by Nissan) and you'll be much less likely to wind up on the back of a tow truck.

Wow, i wish I had parents like you! If I were you I would pick the Lexus LS460. It is amazingly luxurious. If you are looking for a performance vehicle, your parents would be best to get you a Infiniti G37s (coupe) or maybe even a SLK55. Whatever you get, you'll be getting a luxurious, reliable car.

If they're brand new-go for a nice black mercedez convertible. If they're shopping for something a little bit older, then I'd suggest a BMW because the body doesn't change as much and it's a younger looking car even in a sedan.

Mercedes is a far better car than all the other makes..

Lexus and Infiniti don't even belong in the same sentence..

As for me the SL 550 AMG or any Mercedes AMG for that matter..

Your parents shouldn't buy you anything until you learn how to spell Lexus. I'd take the Mercedes.

Probally a W221 S63 AMG, the technology in them are absolutly amazing, the on board computer is just outstanding, or a SL65 AMG just the would of a V12 just doesnt appel to me, but the power sure does :D

i would go for a BMW, i like the M3 model. But damn,your parents are gonna buy you a luxury car!
