first of all, it was not her PRIVATE email, she gets them into the job's email address, second: you don't know her so pls stop judging

If she is the business owner, then yes, she is allowed to sell the business to whomever she pleases without the employee's knowledge or consent. However, she does need to give you advance notice if your job or salary will be affected by the change.
You do not have the right to read her email, whether business or private, unless a copy of the email was sent to you.
It's frustrating, certainly, and I don't doubt she's unpleasant, but from what you've told us she hasn't done anything illegal. She is doing things in her best interest, and she isn't obligated to whatever suits YOU, so don't be so self-centered thinking she's doing it just to annoy or trouble you.
Just look for a better job and be glad you're out of this one.

If you hate her so much, I would have thought that you would be more than happy for her to sell the business and bugger off to America.
It is her business & therefore she has the right to sell.
If another company/person buys the business as a going concern, then they will also need staff to run it.
If she knows that you are accessing her business e-mails, then maybe she is also winding the lot of you up, knowing that you will be reading them and passing the information on.
There is also a duty placed upon you for integrity of information gained whilst working.

Your boss has her reasons to keep quiet about selling up, as careless talk could affect the value of the business as a going concern. No doubt she will negotiate the taking over of existing staff by the purchaser of the business. Anyway, there is great inconsistency in your attitude. You hate this woman, and yet here you are moaning about her imminent departure. You criticise her and her attitude, yet you are not above snooping into her private correspondence. Take a hard look at yourself. Do you like what you see? Then get on with sorting out your next job. You might get on better with a male boss.

wow, first dont go into your bosses email its unethical, so is threatening to beat her, and its probably enough to get your canned right there.
most business do not have to tell there employees prior to the sale of a business. one of our restaurants here closed and never told any of their employees. yeah it sucks to go to work one day and have it be closed, but its usually within the owners rights.

Why don't you just do what most english girls do and sleep with her husband get him totally infactuated with you until he confesses his undying love for you to her. Then dump him and tell everyone in the office he is crap in bed and dish the dirt on all her little secrets he has confided in you.
Its practically tradition now anyway.

Before you talk about others - you should fix your own ethics. Here you are - illegally reading another's private mail - and then complaining about another person's 'ethics.'
