The original, black and white movie was killer! "They're here! They're here!"
The remake with Donald "Woof Woof" Southerland, was too much in love with its cheezy 1980s vintage special effects (the dog with the human face made me laugh out loud), and they changed the ending. Weak.

There are three.
The first one from the 50's has a great feeling of paranoia
The second one from the 70's is really creepy and has some shocking horror moments
unfortunately I haven't seen the most recent but haven't heard good things about it.

Yes, and like other classics such as "Snakes on a Plane:, "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" it was so bad it was good.
I expected a bad movie, and was not disappointed.
