Yes, and we tell oursleves that it is to save their feelings. In reality it is controlling and manipulative. If we tell you the truth, we limit the possibility of doing it again...the same holds true for women though....whenever we lie, we are being manipulative, wanting a predetermined outcome that only benefits us. At the core, it's not about sparing their feelings, it's about getting what we want.

i think men hide things to avoid confrontation and problems. i don't think a man who truly loves his spouse hides things, he isn't interested in saving anyone but himself.

Of course! A classic example is EVERY man checks out women, but it's not like they're going to tell you! Another classic example is porno! Some men are just into it, but they don't want there wife to find out in case it might hurt her feelings. Even though in there mind its nothing.

Yes they will, but if they are hiding it to spare your feelings, is that a bad thing? people need to be two things in a relationshipo, themselves, and half of the couple. if it's something innocent, let it go. if it is your sister's panties, its time for a big talk.

I REALLY think my wife cheated and didn't even tell me.
I DID TELL HER !!!!!!!!!!!
Mostly I confessed to an afair I didn't have, and she didn't confess to one she did have.
Anyway, I feel I can't even trust her anymore.
So. maybe I wouldn't even admit it either.
Or maybe I would, which is more painfull? For both of us? Thats how I would decide it. With therapy of course.
