Simple enough question right, and so many others have asked this already and probably since woman have started to take back our roles of more then just house wives, i mean we were once leaders centuries ago and damn good ones to. So would you vote for a woman as president if her views met your own?

Okey next part to the question, if the woman was the only one that had the same views as you on the bourd of possible presidents why wouldn't you vote for her (for all those people that said they flat out wouldn't).

History shows us that the matriarchal society of the world always prospered, so why wouldn't it be a good thing to at least experiment with. Are men affraid to give up even an ounce of their power?

HI,
I would have voted long ago for a women president
if it was allowed back then, but as you yourself said,
Men in general( not including I), don't like women taking
the reigns of power. History shows and proves that
there have been many women in roles of leadership as
well as in "Military Combat"! For myself, I don't see sex
as the issue, it's the matter of how we use our brains
that pertain to any situation, be it politics or whatever.
This would be an american historical event when, and not
if, a women was voted into the WHITE HOUSE. We
would then also have our " First Man" as opposed to our
"First Lady"....lol. I myself don't vote at all, but I would for
a Female President. Women have turned the tide of
history many times over and would do so again if given
the opportunity.

If the candidate espoused my values and the direction in which I want the country to head, absolutely.
I don't know who the first woman will be but I tell my daughters that likely it will be someone in their life time (they are 8 and 10).
Most likely the first woman president will arise from the role of VP and then be elected (or promoted).
Hillary would never settle for second fiddle so it will not likely be her as I don't believe she will be successful in her current campaign.

I would vote for a woman if she shared my beliefs and had good ideas about the future of our country and our place in this world. Voting for a woman just because she is a woman is to me just as sexist as not voting for someone becuase she is a woman.

Yes, I would but I would not vote for Hilary Clinton. Too many flaws..... Lots of other countries have female leaders and I believe that they can do the job just as well if not better than any man.

not because she was a female. Thats sexist on my part. Being a women and voting for someone because their a women is wrong. Just the same as a man voting for a man becuase he's a man. (wow that was a werid sentence!).
I would vote based on what she believes and if I agree or not.
(aka NOT Hillary Clinton)
