I am a strong liberal Democrat that strongly opposes George Bush, but I can't help feeling sorry for him. His legacy has gone down the trash can. His failed economic policies have lost millions of jobs. His healthcare and social security policies have been a nightmare. He refused and failed to send an appropriate amount of troops into Afghanistan to apprehend Osama Ben Ladin and Al- Quida, instead, getting us stuck in Iraq. He is arguably the most unpopular American political figure of all time, in the eyes of the world. He has turned nearly every country against us, and raised Anti American sediment around the world to alarmingly high levels. He can't even convince Senators and Congressmen in his own party to vote on legislation he wants passed (Immigration bill). His polls have dropped to a 26% approval rating, and Democrats and Republicans alike have lost complete support for him. Bush’s administration will go down in history as a complete failure. You can’t help feel sorry for him?

I am Republican, and one most would say is on the far right of the political spectrum. I do not feel sorry for this man. He is completely incompetent. He has made bad decision after bad decision.

I cannot say he has done well with much of anything other than his Supreme Court Nominees and that only after he was forced to, dragged and kicking, drop his own personal lawyer from the list!

What he has done is NOT conservative, and NOT wise.
He was told repeatedly that he was making a bad decision, as he made them, by his fellow Republicans and he dug his heals in.

The "decider" screwed up far too many times. I am way beyond tired of this guy.

You forgot to point that the Congress, lead by ability of Democrats, have low poll numbers than Bush. What healthcare and social secure practices coverage? Oh, you mean a similar one that invoice Clinton had. you haven't any longer have been given any clue on how the financial equipment is doing. Has the inventory industry been going up for the final 3 years? sure. this could basically take place if the financial equipment is transforming into. If the financial equipment is transforming into then there is constructive interest improve, no longer damaging interest improve. whether we like it or no longer, the middle East has to get replaced. If we don't combat now, then we are able to could desire to combat interior the destiny. top now, Bush is the capability of u . s . a .. The terrorist know in the event that they get a Democrat as president that he will in no way do what would be neccessary to win the conflict on terror. Doing the nicely suited ingredient is greater substantial than being commonly used. i will care much less what different international locations think of. those are a similar idiots that did no longer something in the previous Hitler. sure, I agree that the immigration invoice replaced right into a failure of Bush, Ted Kennedy, and Harry Reid.

Dude! Despite the the terrorist attack and the recession we were in when he took office, the economy has been very good. He cut taxes and still the govt has brought in record #s of tax revenue. Congress's polls are at 25% maybe it is a trend. His healthcare did not fail. He has taken more govt money and spent it on prescription drug coverage for older Americans. We won't know his legacy for another 5-10 years. He has been able to keep terrorist attacks off of our soil which is more than his predecessor can say

I don't think he cares much about his legacy. That's just a false impression of what he was good for. If anyone knows inside themselves that they do the right thing and try their best, that should be good enough for anyone else (even if they can't see it or believe it).

"He is arguably the most unpopular American political figure of all time, in the eyes of the world."

Only in recent times. We've had worse, trust me...

You wonder about the neediness of someone that posts over and over the same seditious tripe they've posted many times before. What do they get from it? What is their goal?

Are they really asking any legitimate questions or are they simply playing the "I pity him, so I must be SO much better than he is" game? How sick is that?

Here's his other posts. Ask a question sometime.

Legacies are built over time and not in the present. A lot of people thought Reagan was a failure during his presidency but he is now considered one of the greatest presidents of the 20th century. Decisions that Bush is making now have effects on future events and only then will his legqacy be known.

Well Abe Lincoln was the most unpopular President ever. Hell, we had a Civil War. All because the Southern Democrats wanted to keep their slaves.
I think his Reputation is pretty solid now.
He just did what was right, not what was Popular.....

When someone is stubborn especially when wrong
and
accuses people of being
unpatriotic,
unAmerican
or racist when they don't agree with him

Tries to get even with people that don't agree with what he said, finds ways around the law and has no remorse about anything he does and emphasizes his flawed ideas with that little smirk that says no one is right but him

Sorry, I don't feel sorry for him in any way.

I think you summed up his term as President pretty good.

I don't feel sorry for him one bit. I hope his legacy eats at him for the rest of his life. I hope he spends the rest of his life despressed because of his failures. No pity for this man from me. His arrogance was his downfall.
