What do you think would be a mother's reason for having a drinking party? Think wisely please.

Okay, new details; this is not MY mom who wants to drink and she has a good cause to why she is doing this, can you figure out why? I know it takes lots of thinking...

Maybe she wants a little stress relief. To let loose and have a good time with friends and family, there is nothing wrong with having a drinking party as long as everyone is responsible about it!! hey moms need to have a life too!!

for herself or for you and herself? How old are you if it's the later? maybe she's afraid you drink outside the house and if she can't get you not to drink, then she would rather you do it in your own house so she can make sure you don't drink to much or people don't slip you drugs? if your of age, maybe she just wants to have a fun time with her daughter? or maybe if you are underage and don't drink, your mother is just crazy and never heard of good parenting. there could be so many reasons. but for anyone to help you, we need more information.

hmm. Well, just because its a party and there is drinking, doesn't mean it will be a crazy party. But, I don't know, I guess it depends on the personality of your mom. Maybe she wants a nice "wine drinking" type party ?

Your mother is trying to connect with you by being your girlfriend. Unfortunately this is not very good parenting. Parents should always maintain the distinction of being in charge. Drinking with kids is not a good way to achieve respect.
I don't know about you but I wouldn't like it very much if my parent said something like that to me.

Maybe she just wants to relax and hang out with her daughter. But how old are you? Hopefully she isn't promoting underage drinking. It also depends on what she means by party

Maybe she rather the kids (teens) drink at home rather than out on the streets... or maybe she wants to get them drunk and get a hangover to teach them that they are too young to drink.
or maybe it is just a boring day in the trailer park and she is looking to spice things up.

Because she is an irresponsible adult and doesn't love you. Unless by drinking party she means drinking non-alcoholic beverages-she may be tryin to trap you, she didn't say alcoholic drinking party, but if she means alcohol-then she's a skank like you.

She probably wants you to see the effects it will have on you while you are in a safe environment, and let you have some experience before you go out with no experience and take a chance on ruining your life.

Well, first off, she is probably an alcoholic. But mainly it's probably cause she wants to bond. She may just want to feel young again....doesn't everyone.
