The n word is more HATE filled because that word was born out of hate. Calling someone retarded is not really hateful. It's moreso picking with someone for acting mindless. Unless you're saying it to a retarded person well that's just mean. Why would you pick on a retarded person.

The 'N' word is oppressive and aimed at a specific group of people, while 'retarded' can be a statement toward anyone, based on critism or an action. The 'N' word is more hate filled.

Well, I was going to say the n word, but when you think about neither person can help being what they are. However, people who use the "n" word are more likely to try to be insulting than those who say that a question or user is "retarded," which they use to mean "dumb."

They are both hate filled.
I know sometimes people joke around, like, "OMG JACKIE YOU'RE SO RETARDED HAHAHA."
Or I've heard some people at my school call eachother the "n" word.
But I think both of thoes words are equally as bad, and they shouldn't be thrown around as jokes.
Or insults.
I'm not really sure if this had to do with anything.

I would say neither because both words if looked up in a dictionary mean something completely different then what you would think. N word means iggnorant person and Retarded is judt that they are reffered to as MR technically (mentally retarded) it is a actual medical term for them.

It depends on which one meant more hate.
For instance: I use the "f" word as a term of endearment to my friends. Example: "Hey, what's up f-ers." But if someone who never uses the word calls someone a f-er in anger, well then that one is more hate-filled.
It's all in the intent.
