hms squid a minesweeper ww 2?

do you know anything about this ship that sail with the adlantic convoyes in the ww2

The only H.M.S. Squid that I have been able to find was a shore base used as a Tank Landing Craft repair depot in Southampton.
A 'Squid' was a mortar mounted on a ship's deck and I think used to launch anti submarine depth charges.

All that I have gleaned is that it worked out of Southampton
